Is anyone else in the Substack Universe watching Yellowjackets? I know I’m not the only one. I can’t be. This show is horror genius. As someone that doesn’t get disturbed by much (aside from any dog in any movie ever), this show tears me to pieces.

And the latest episode??? Pause here if you don’t want spoilers…

HOLY SHIT! If anything can rip my mama heart to pieces, it’s the loss of a baby. Seriously, it tapped right into those fears I had during every pregnancy. And I know—some people hate the pregnancy trope, but I just find it to be another layer of fear. The possibilities women face when bringing life into the world is terrifying, and I think Yellowjackets did an impeccable job of writing it.

If you haven’t seen it yet… 10/10 recommend.
